Max Jaffe (JOBS, Chrome Sparks, Elder Ones) is hitting the road on his first solo tour and we’re stoked to have him stop in Chicago. His record Giant Beat can be looked at as a personal exploration of Jaffe’s relationship with dance music, jazz and experimental rock. The result is a collage of ambient meditations, improvised percussion outbursts, and experimental dance music.

St Juice – A proud disciple of the greats, singer/keyboardist Justice Hill (known by his anagrammed moniker St. Juice) brings his funky, jazzy, soulful flavor to every stage that he plays. Originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan, the Berklee album relocated to Chicago to bring his emotional brand of soul and gospel to the masses. Hill’s baritone voice feels like being punched in the heart by The Man Upstairs himself, and having been indoctrinated by the likes of Gaye, Zapp, Parliament, Sly, and Herbie, he’s ready to preach the gospel of Saint Juice far and wide.
