Formed in 2012, Lever is a four-piece original grunge/pop/rock band taking influences from artists such as Nirvana, The Vines, Oasis, Speedy Ortiz to The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. They have had the opportunity to perform at legendary places, from the Metro, House of Blues, and Vans Warped Tour, to the famous Whisky A Go-Go in West Hollywood. In 2017, Lever was voted “Best Rock Band” by the Chicago Reader’s Poll. They have also been awarded the “Best Rock Entertainer” at the 37th Annual Chicago Music Awards. With a full-length “Hover Bored (2015),” and their brand new EP “Ms. Lead” (2017), Lever plans to release a full-length follow-up in 2018. Lever has shared the stage with national touring acts such as Night Ranger, RED, Saving Abel, The Dead Deads, Summer Cannibals, Diarrhea Planet, Doll Skin, City of the Weak, Stitched Up Heart, Darling Parade, and The Composure.
Ritual Talk (Brooklyn, NY)
Ritual Talk is a Brooklyn-based indie rock trio with lush instrumentation and exploratory vocal arrangements that tinge each song with an unmistakable color, on and off the stage. Led by songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Alex DeSimine and joined by drummer Tom Criblez and fellow multi-instrumentalist Dylan Gleit, each member of the band uses every limb they have to create a soundscape that transcends their three-person appearance.
Chicago’s five-piece psychedelic rockers combine the dreamy vibes of the 1960’s with the face-ripping riffs of the early 2000’s. Sort of like heavy metal for the beach.
